I am new to the world of tea infuser. I bought this mug as a gift and it's a lot cuter in person than online. I bought a variety of loose leaf tea bags to give along with this gift. A very high quality mug. It's dishwasher safe and the logo is still vibrant and looking new despite being washed in the dishwasher every day. The mug is also used daily in the microwave and has not broken yet (over a year ago). I'm not sure if the mug is meant to be microwaveable, but that hasn't been a problem yet. Cup capacity 12 oz. The words on the front of the mug read "Go with the flow". The tea infuser is made of soft silicone, gray in color and shaped like a manatee. They separate the two body parts of the manatee to give the manatee tea. The manatee hangs on the inside of the mug to allow the tea to steep. To use this tea infuser, add 2 tablespoons of loose tea to the manatee infuser and hang the manatee in the mug. Then pour hot water into the cup and let the tea steep. If the tea is weak, let it steep for 3 minutes. For regular strength tea, steep for 5 minutes. Infuse for 8 minutes for strong tea. The teapot is made of soft silicone and is very easy to clean. It's dishwasher safe, although I'd recommend only putting it on the top rack of the dishwasher. Overall this was a great purchase and the person I bought it for loves it very much, although they have dozens of mugs this is the one they use the most.
