I have finely colored hair and I usually use SOMA, Olaplex or Tridesign hair care products. Based on the reviews and ingredient list, I figured this might work just as well (e.g. part hair, smooth cuticles, shine strands) and give me a little more bounce. My hair, of course, was a mass of wires stuck together in a socket. I followed my usual post-shampoo routine (conditioning, towel drying, leave-in conditioner, medicated lace oil). I prefer to air dry my hair. After that it got rough and rough. I tried several times a week and the result was the same. My hair looked lifeless, strands stuck together and generally unhealthy. There was a bit more bounce but definitely not worth it for all the other effects. By the way, Olaplex #4 has a similar wash feel, it's also a little rough on the cuticles, but after shampooing and leave-in my hair is shiny, parted and smooth when I run my fingers through it.
