I've spent a lot of time thinking about which brushes to get for basic watercolor painting and browsing the Blick Art Supplies website. They offer only the best of student or art classes. Art students and artists are in business and these Liquitex brushes have been recommended for coloring pencils and other things. I like synthetic brushes because I don't want to accidentally contribute to animal suffering or create art with anything that contributes to animal suffering. They are great for people studying or doing a craft project. They are affordable and keep their shape, but if something terrible happens to them, replacing them won't be difficult. These are amazing little brushes. There's also a Princeton brush which is just as great and I'm using both at the moment. I'm always looking for good synthetic brushes. They fit the bill and you can never have too many brushes! I highly recommend them to crafters and budding artists! They are amazing.
