Review on 🔧 McGard 84638 Chrome Cone Seat Wheel Installation Kit for 6-Lug Wheels – M14 x 1.5 Thread Size by Mike Travers

I have 10 year old stud nuts that originally had open ended nuts and stayed like warm butter on hot toast. The chrome trim is said to have a lifetime warranty, but it looked a little goofy. Maybe there was a thin layer of oil on them, but they were cloudy and had brown spots the color of cardboard (they were in a sealed bag in the box). You can see a texture in the metal that looks like pitted chrome. I rubbed each one with my t-shirt until it was shiny enough and then attached them; It took more than 15 tab abrasions to notice the start of a brown stain on a green shirt. If they rust within the next year I will update my review. All in all they look like good quality nuts/keys fit 4 locks well. I didn't use nuts/stems/bushings/valve caps. These are longer nuts (1.945" for open access; they will not fit the center caps.
