The strap looks good at first glance, but once you start tying it you'll see where you've saved to keep costs down. There are three clips on each side of the strap for attaching the strap to the main unit. In what I received all the clips were warped and misaligned. Because of this, it was difficult to assemble the belt. If for some reason you have to take it apart to remove the headband, I have little faith it will survive even a single removal and reassembly. Considering it's only marginally cheaper than the branded version, save yourself some headaches and get the real thing.
