. Not sure why anyone would buy the Bissell Pet Hair version of this product. is it a color The fact that it says "pet hair" on the transparent container. Both Bissell products share the same motor booster, sponge pet hair gripper and performance, except for one detail that is important to me – the pet hair version's cord is 2 feet shorter. SHORTER. It made my decision easy. I need a longer cable. This handheld vacuum is a workhorse and is great for removing my dog hair from stairs, furniture etc (as I'm sure the pet hair version will work too). BUT I never have to worry about running out of cord for a ladder or vacuuming a van and more. So if you don't dislike the extra length of cable (and accessories) I don't think it's a problem.
