I bought this because the description specifically stated it is compatible with the Brother QL-1110NWB printer, but I found that to be incorrect. However, I compared the spool bracket with the original Brother bracket and found that it was lacking one if the identifying holes that define which switches to press in the printer when the spool is inserted. Adding this additional hole allowed the printer to accept the aftermarket spool. See the attacked photo. There is actually a molding mark on the bracket where this hole should be so it is easy to locate.
