Review on 🖨️ Beeprt BY-245 Label Printer: Efficient, High-Quality Printing Solution by Jeremy Adams

This is for the orange BY-248G which is no longer available on this listing as of June 20th! Update: I received a replacement and it worked fine. A few notes: Printing to other odd-sized media from the same computer may not reset the default paper size to 4x6, which MUST be set to print correctly. Also, make sure your labels are stored in a way that they don't accumulate dust, pet hair, etc. with infrequent use, as anything that gets into the device will affect the quality of the thermal print. Overall it's not a bad device, I wish the quality/clarity was a bit better than inkjet printers, but it does the job and definitely saves money. . .I clearly received an earlier return. It already had a test label on it and the red overheat error light was flashing. After a few resets I managed to print a test label so I could see the quality, which was good. But then it got stuck with the same error message again and didn't do anything even when resetting. This happened after I had to manually install the printer and drivers on Windows 10. You CANNOT just use the automatic installer on Windows 10, you need to add the printer, select the location (USB), select downloaded drivers, and then select the model. Since I've already done this I'll give the element swap another try and amend my review accordingly if the next one works.
