No longevity! in chargers and adapters

This was a replacement charging cable for my Surface. My native cord lasted about 4 years. The one I bought in September has already stopped working. The cable wasn't that flexible, so the chances of wires getting compromised were pretty high. I am very disappointed that it only lasted a few months. Now I don't have a laptop, my main and most important tool for my business.
