I often bake with weights as they are more accurate than volume for things like different grains. I've also tried using it to weigh tea to make the recommended amount of loose tea but it doesn't seem to measure accurately at all as it still reads zero grams even with a tablespoon of tea on the scale. Therefore, in the case of very small amounts, it will not be registered. Once you have significant weight on it, it feels absolutely fine, a gram more or less of something. If the scale doesn't hold anything and I put very light objects on it, it won't register.
