Life Saving. This VESA adapter allowed me to use my current TV wall mount, which was limited to TVs up to 32 inches, and expand it to accommodate much larger TVs, specifically 50 inches in my case. It didn't have the right screw size for large TVs. The size of the screw you need depends on the size of the bracket and the TV you want to mount. In my case I needed M8 screws. This adapter was not that size. So you can either buy multiple mounts of different lengths or buy a set of VESA mount screws which are extremely overpriced. In many cases, it's better to buy a cheap mount with the right size screws. I have some left over from my other TV mount. So this kit definitely works to extend compatibility with larger TVs on smaller mounts.
