Surprised by this. The sound quality is a little heavy for a base, but can be adjusted by experimenting with the equalizer settings on the trusty I-Phone. Connecting was a breeze. The microphone's noise-cancellation isn't great in extreme noise conditions, although you can still be heard. When I say extreme, then for noise zones up to 105 dB. I wasn't expecting crystal clear sound, but the fact that you can still be heard over 100dB is still a huge plus. All other places in my noisy factory are comfortable for me to converse, so that's well done! The only downside I can foresee is the inability to replace the earbuds if they are damaged in any way. Battery life hasn't been an issue so far, but I don't use it continuously for 8 hours so it would be unfair for me to rate it. *UPDATE* I've had these six months and they've been great. I would still like to be able to change buds as cleaning is a hassle. I've also ordered four more for the rest of my team to solve the security issue of not being able to communicate at the factory. One of them stated that they hurt his ears, so that's another reason to be able to replace the earbuds. My left earbud died two nights ago, I contacted Elgin customer service and my replacement was sent! Brilliant product support and I cannot recommend them highly enough.
