I had another DP cable that said "ready for 4k 60 fps gaming" blah blah that works 99% of the time. but it crashes every now and then for split seconds after my Acer X34. It only goes out for a split second and then reconnects, but that bothered me to no end. THIS cable works like a charm, fps as much as my monitor and GPU will allow. The Acer x34 also has the silly problem that the DP connection point is narrow - I've tried cables with larger/longer plugs that just don't fit because the cable plug is too thick/long. I swear by the mono price, but in the future I'll add Startech to the list next time I need cables for anything.
