High flexibility and actual VESA certification

This cable is slightly more expensive than some of the competition, but is actually VESA certified and more flexible. The added flexibility greatly simplifies cable management.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Expensive

Not for 240Hz 1440p

I have a Samsung G7 240Hz 1440p monitor, but I was having problems with flickering. The cable is long and has a release tab, but it is not compatible with my monitor. Also the price is high

Works with Ultra Wide Gaming Monitor - Acer x34

I had another DP cable that said "ready for 4k 60 fps gaming" blah blah that works 99% of the time. but it crashes every now and then for split seconds after my Acer X34. It only goes out for a split second and then reconnects, but that bothered me to no end. THIS cable works like a charm, fps as much as my monitor and GPU will allow. The Acer x34 also has the silly problem that the DP connection point is narrow - I've tried cables with larger/longer plugs that just don't fit because the cable…

High quality but not flexible cable

I bought four of these StarTech.com 3M DisplayPort cables to use with AORUS FI25F 25" 240Hz 1080P monitors. Very satisfied. The quality of the cables and connectors is very good good. There were no issues with all four cables and I was able to get crisp 240Hz 1080P images on all monitors. I only had two issues that I encountered.. First, the cables are very rigid. They bend not much, especially near the ports. They sagged a few inches under the monitor before I could route them back into the…

Very poor quality for cables and connections

Everything started well, no problems for a few days, but today I turned on my computer and noticed that my display was rotated 180 degrees from normal and up from nominal 180 degrees down. I was very frustrated and spent hours trying to figure out what happened. After I unplugged it instead of the DP cable that came from the 4K monitor manufacturer, everything is fine again. I have tried other DP cables and had no problems with other DP cables. It looks good, but it's actually really bad. Very…

Saved my $500 monitor

If you want to use 1440p in HDR you need a VESA certified DP 1.4 cable. 4 stars because of the price and the lack of a 2m cable. I have a Samsung 27chg70 which display was terrible on Windows 10 with HDR. The monitor is running an Nvidia 1080 TI, and the Nvidia control panel refused to render 10bpc colors at any refresh rate (thanks to the previous DisplayPort cable). In RGB mode my text looked like 3D without glasses (red, black, blue are all offset against each other). This cable fixed all of

So far, so good. best of vga cables

Bought to use with my LG 34WK95U which has a reputation for being temperamental. I bought a used monitor from B&H for $500 less than new and used it with Cable Matters - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06Y1QP9FV/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o09_s00?ie=UTF8&psc= 1 The monitor and cable worked great together although the cable is rated for 4K and the monitor is rated for 5K. The price of the monitor then dropped to what I paid for a used item so I returned the used one and got a new one. The new

  • Not as thick as other options

The product image is inaccurate and the description is misleading

I have no problems with this cable as with most StarTech cables as they tend to be very well made. I disagree with one of the images showing the wrong product. Instead of an actual 3m cable, it shows an image of a 2m/1m cable, which is important as 2m/1m cables are actually thin. This 3m version is definitely NOT thin. After receiving the product I checked out the Revain sales page and found that it mentioned both 28 AWG and 34 AWG. I don't know where StarTech considers 28 AWG to be "thin", but
