If you want to use 1440p in HDR you need a VESA certified DP 1.4 cable. 4 stars because of the price and the lack of a 2m cable. I have a Samsung 27chg70 which display was terrible on Windows 10 with HDR. The monitor is running an Nvidia 1080 TI, and the Nvidia control panel refused to render 10bpc colors at any refresh rate (thanks to the previous DisplayPort cable). In RGB mode my text looked like 3D without glasses (red, black, blue are all offset against each other). This cable fixed all of my monitor's visual issues and allowed my monitor to properly display SDR and HDR content at 1440p. @ 120Hz. One would think that Samsung would supply a suitable cable. Despite the cost, get this cable, the $5-$10 savings isn't worth the hassle of sub-optimal display quality.
