As soon as I tried to remove the hair from the living room furniture, the sound was like nails on a board and not a single dog hair moved. I felt like tearing my sofa apart instead of just trying to rip the dog hair off. The lint rollers work better than this machine and that is saying something as we all know that getting dog hair out of pillows is nearly impossible.
