Works perfectly. No problem

I have a 2001 Honda CR-V. I noticed that the temperature sensor was starting to fail. Got it and installed it from start to finish in 20 minutes. See photos to compare the new thermostat to the old one! You can see how the old one has rotted and the new one is a direct replacement.

ENGINE THERMOSTAT REPLACEMENT: The engine thermostat regulates engine temperature by controlling coolant flow. Symptoms of a bad or faulty thermostat: high temperature readings and the engine overheating, low temperature readings and an underheated engine, erratic temperature changes, coolant leaks around the thermostat housing or under the vehicle. You can find your car's thermostat by starting at the top radiator hose and following it to where it enters the top of the engine.
