I got these to help my sore feet. I am on my feet as a teacher's aide a lot and when I get home I am often limping. I got these to help with morning pain and so I could wear my cute socks again. I found that they work great during the day either alone or under my crew socks. They keep my feet from hurting so I can do all the things I need to in the day like grocery shopping and picking up kids, too. Wearing them at night was comfortable but only helped with the morning pain of plantar fascitis minimally. My husband begged to try them for his feet and now I have to buy a second pair because he likes them so much he won'r give them back! They dry quick over night if you wash them as directed. I have had them for about a month and they show no sign of wear and tear. Like I said I am ordering a second pair.
