This is my personal opinion and rating. First, you must have a basic knowledge of electronics to get the most out of this camera. Note that battery life and memory cards aren't that great, it doesn't work if you need a 24/7 security camera. I think what frustrates a lot of people is that they don't read and do their research and what a bargain price but still want a top notch product. Set up was pretty easy after watching the video and reading the instructions. Motion detection and night vision worked well for me in the small tests I ran. I mainly use mine as a DVR to commute to and from work. So limited battery and storage is not a problem for me. So for me it's five stars because it suits my needs well. Again, if you want something that will record for hours then look elsewhere. Whether you want to use it as a bike cam, dash cam, or whatever to record an hour or two of meetings, this will get the job done for a great price. Hope this review helps.
