Review on 🍳 Korean Sizzling Ceramic Cookware by Crazy Cooking by Tim Beardsley

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Versatile and very high quality!

Excellent ceramic bowls! Where have you been all my life? Stove (gas or electric), oven, dishwasher, microwave, fridge, what's not to like? Saves so much effort being able to use one pot for cooking, serving, chilling and reheating. I have a glass electric range and it works great. I recently cooked rice in it on the stove (I don't have a rice cooker) and it was great. It stayed so hot for so long and was totally fluffy. I made bibimbap last night and it stayed hot for hours. Ignore the reviews about melting plastic coasters. It is made of melamine and withstands high temperatures very well. That's what it's for. Apparently the reviewers didn't even try. To be on the safe side, I also used wooden boards so that the heat does not radiate onto my wooden dining table. I have four of the smallest, two large and one brindle #4 doll. I'm thinking about getting four medium ones as I think they would be good for generous single servings. The large size is too big for individual servings unless it's for a 16 year old. The smallest (16 ounces) are too small for a single serving of bibimbap, but work well in a soup, side dish, or baked dessert. They wash well and wash well in the dishwasher. They're a bit more expensive than the ones I've seen on the Korean market recently, but the quality is much better and they're made in Korea, god knows where. I recommend you get the one with the lid. Very happy with my purchase.
