not for HP Deskjet Pro 6978
The printer worked fine until I tried to go cheap and buy it. The printer stopped working immediately and had to be replaced. HP asked "How old is your printer?" (Isn't it time you got a new HP?) NO. not HP. After that, the HP printer should be treated like a spill-anywhere hazardous material. Sorry, this is just about HP trying to get you to only buy YOUR HP cartridges. It's a shame because the print quality is very good.
