Review on ๐Ÿ  PINVNBY Parakeet Nest Box: Ideal Breeding House for Parrots, Lovebirds, Cockatoos, Budgies, Finches, Canaries, and Medium-Sized Birds by Renee Carfindergirl

I liked the nest but there were problems

The box itself is beautifully made. Except for the round entry disc. However, you did not receive enough LONG screws to attach the nest to the cage. The screws were barely an inch long, which was enough to go through the wood and not stick out quite a quarter of an inch, but not enough to go through the cage. There was no way to attach a washer and wing nut. I had to go to the hardware store and buy screws. They didn't have the 2 inch screws that were needed. I had to settle for 3 inch screws. There is also a short perch that should fit in the hole under the main entrance. The perch is too big in diameter for the hole. And the hardware store didn't have the right size anchors. So I had to use a smaller dowel and glue the end of it until it was thick enough to stay in the hole. The wood is very soft. This is good because it's light and doesn't drag the cage. BUT THE BIRDS EAT IT. THE ROUND METAL DISC THAT IS THE ENTRANCE IS VERY SHARP. It rises above the page and the sharp edge is exposed. The lid slid down gently, squeezing my finger into the metal rim. It cut me a lot. I had to call an ambulance. It would definitely fail the test if made in the United States. Good case for litigation. My birds don't go in. I only waited four days but since they ate the nest I had to pull it out.
