🏠 PINVNBY Parakeet Nest Box: Ideal Breeding House for Parrots, Lovebirds, Cockatoos, Budgies, Finches, Canaries, and Medium-Sized Birds Review

I bought this bird house for my solar hut. It's well made and comes with mounting hardware to slip into the box. Unfortunately my bird is afraid to go there but we've only had him for about a week. In the meantime, he is content to tap-dance on it and gnaw at every nook and cranny. I hope he still has something to sit when it gets cold.😬

I bought them in June but only installed them two weeks ago. I couldn't understand how my green cheek slipped out of the cage and let other birds into the room. Then I opened the nest and saw a huge hole in the ground. They took less than 2 weeks. I have an old nest box from somewhere else and my couple have been using it for 4 years with no problems. Guess I'll have to try and find more old school models.

I bought some houses for my lovebirds but the last one has too soft wood and my parrots easily put holes in it, the last house I bought had cracks, I don't think I need more of which buy this kind because wood doesn't even look like wood, it's like the cork they use for wine bottles but a little harder. Better to buy real wood, even if it costs a little more, if not quite as cheap.

The box itself is beautifully made. Except for the round entry disc. However, you did not receive enough LONG screws to attach the nest to the cage. The screws were barely an inch long, which was enough to go through the wood and not stick out quite a quarter of an inch, but not enough to go through the cage. There was no way to attach a washer and wing nut. I had to go to the hardware store and buy screws. They didn't have the 2 inch screws that were needed. I had to settle for 3 inch screws…
