Chewable Softwood

I bought them in June but only installed them two weeks ago. I couldn't understand how my green cheek slipped out of the cage and let other birds into the room. Then I opened the nest and saw a huge hole in the ground. They took less than 2 weeks. I have an old nest box from somewhere else and my couple have been using it for 4 years with no problems. Guess I'll have to try and find more old school models.
