I shoot YouTube videos with my Samsung S9. (Clayton Bridges on YouTube) and while filming I heard scratching noises because my hands are in contact with my phone, among other things. I have a threaded pitch phone holder for a tripod. I bought this, attached the phone holder and phone and it solved my problem. I couldn't get rid of this noise during editing and didn't want to use a lavalier mic. The product is high quality, although it was very smelly it seems well made. I think for what I'm going to use it's great. It even came with a microfiber screen cloth, which is nice. The only issue I've had is that the grip feels like a polymer pistol grip to me and I'm afraid if it's not positioned correctly when not attached to gear it will look like I would pack. I work with cars a lot and am afraid it will get hot when they see the handle on the passenger seat. But the quality is great and it's a great tool when filming.
