This is a solid pistol grip monopod that I bought for my ghost hunting gear. I bought a rail to mount my iPhone, SB7 ghost box and digital voice recorder. I like the feel and stability of the monopod. It is well made and intuitive to use. This is a high quality product and the grip feels more comfortable than a small stick style monopod. The best thing was that the price was reasonable. I also bought a 3-axis gimbal for motion videos.

I bought this add-on to have good control over a pair of night vision goggles I bought for a trip to the countryside. I knew from the start that the (expensive) camera I was going to take with me was going to be difficult to hold, especially if I had to move around off-road or in low-light conditions. This pen was easy to install and did the job. I'm looking for other video gear as I like the security and control of the pistol grip style. Highly recommended.

Bought hoping it would help stabilize the camera. I'm used to a much heavier Nikon with a detachable telephoto lens, and I've had stability issues with my flashgun, resulting in quite a few blurry images, especially in telephoto mode. I didn't want a tripod and wanted something that was easy to attach/detach. This little gadget works like a charm! Incredibly easy to put on and take off, fits easily in my camera bag and makes it easy to mount my camera. Glad I found this!

I bought two for an upcoming trip. I really enjoy using it with the Sony Handycam - I've always found that holding a small camcorder requires an awkward wrist position unless you're holding the camera directly in front of your face. The pistol grip allows you to hold the camera comfortably and shoot from any position. There is also one for a full frame Canon camera, on which I use a Tamron 150-600mm telephoto lens.
