When I ordered this I wasn't sure I would like it. But after driving it in my car for a couple of weeks, I liked it. Haven't used duct tape yet. I will do this after removing the cables and doing another mount on the passenger side. Lots of light and adjustable up and down. A large selection of colors is a great help. As for LED strips, I have OCD where I can't see the light source. I installed 1 x 1 x 10 inch wood boards just behind the bottom edge of the dash and glove box. The back slats fit nicely into the seat where they meet the carpet. glued them, wiring under the carpet.
