This wireless headset met my expectations despite giving it a one star rating. I've had wireless headsets that also give you FM stations that you don't want or need in your headset. They all move between television and radio; You have to constantly fiddle with the switch and look for your TV channel. With MP3 players, tablets and phones offering great MP3 playback, who needs FM radio on wireless headsets you only need to watch TV? In most cases they are simply cut out completely. So why did I order such a bad headset? Because it can work in wired mode. All I ask from my wireless headset is that I can watch TV without disturbing my wife's sleep. I don't care if they underperform on headsets. In wired mode (I bought a cable off eBay long enough to connect the TV to my position in bed) there is no drift or breakage. The only thing I didn't understand is why there is no volume control, although the volume is sufficient for my purposes. In general, this headset is pretty much useless in wired listening mode. In wired mode, you can watch TV without disturbing your partner. I bought this headset as a backup for my Sentry device that I've had for about 10-12 years and plan on using it until I find a good replacement.
