This case is near great, but unfortunately quite disappointing. I don't know if I received an early case for my 4th gen iPad Air but I hope these things are fixed. Pros: The iPad fits snugly in the case. Definitely offers enough protection for me. I like to type. I like the feel and the responsiveness. The keys are not too loud like on my Lenovo laptop. - I like the touchpad. Other reviews complain about responsiveness. I don't have this problem. Touchpad gestures are recognized and generally work well. It's not a laptop, but it's definitely a big improvement - it looks great. I have the black version and it's very sleek and professional. I had no problems with scratches, the case still looks like new after 2 months. Cons: - Bluetooth sometimes fails to connect. Must be repaired to work. Other cases I've used don't have this problem. The battery life is really strange. Sometimes it's ok (last 2 weeks, sometimes it only lasts 2 days with similar usage) I really like that it charges with a USB-C cable - VERY annoying that the fingerprint scanner is limited to a piece of plastic out of the case is. Makes the fingerprint scanner almost unusable. (see photo) - The USB-C connector for the iPad is limited on one side (see photo) - It's heavy! I don't mind that, but it's a lot heavier than other keyboard cases I've used. My "p" key sometimes repeats itself when I press it. I hope this will improve with more use, but that is not the case yet. Often Apple fixes the problem automatically, but sometimes it doesn't. - The touchpad does not turn off when typing. I wish there was a way to disable the touchpad. I've changed the way I hold my hands while typing, but it's still an issue.
