Review on 🌿 FZONE Aquatic Glass Lily Pipe Skimmer Inflow and Outflow: Enhance Your Aquatic Filter System by Julie Terrones

The reason I bought this was because I could see what appeared to be an oil stain on the surface of the water. This tank was set up about a month ago (the canister filter had been running in my other tank for a month so it was a loop) and I saw a few fish rush to the surface for air. I had to either add airstone, which would distort my natural look, or use a skimmer. I decided to give it a try and for the most part it seems to work fine with a little more. You can probably see in my second picture that I added an o-ring to the plastic top inlet. I probably spent 2 hours playing around with air removal, air addition and waiting. I did my best, the thing didn't slip on the surface, didn't bounce up and down. I was able to get it where I wanted and after a few minutes it started spinning, causing the water to suck in faster, sink too deep and start rocking again. The o-ring ended up where it should have been so I'll probably give it a few more weeks and see.
