Great budget headphones but I'd rather have more bass

After listening to some of my favorite tracks on TIDAL via iPhone XS Max (no EQ) via Apple Lightning on 3.5mm Adapter, no EQ That sounds good. Bass response is lacking for my taste in music, but that's to be expected with this form factor. The bass is IS, just not the way I like it. Then I tried my computer. As soon as I turn on the equalizer, the sound is significantly better to my ears. I connected this to the Schiit Magni Heresy via my ASUS DGX card with Dolby Access for my EQ. The "Warm" setting in the "Music" section sounds best for these phones. I usually disable the EQ entirely or turn his music off with Extra EQ when using my Beyerdynamic DT770 80 Ohm which has enough bass for my ears. , there isn't much sub-bass and the vocals are very forward but it still sounds similar to how I remember the Koss KSC75 sounding (perhaps with a little less luster). As with the KSC75, heavy vocal and rock music (tested with Rilo Kiley, QOTSA and Strokes) sounds best on them, especially without EQ. On the contrary, I feel these headphones have a wider soundstage than the KSC75. Great deal and I will definitely be buying a few more pairs to keep or give away. It's been a great start to my return to headphones and I'll keep looking for the next update. I'll try to update this review once I hear some other headphones I have laying around or in the mail (KPH30i, Senn MX 365, Galaxy Buds+).
