Review on Silver Buffalo LI122534V Stitch Ceramic by Naomi Johnson

Completely unimpressed with the durability of this mug. Bought for my 9 year old daughter who loves Lilo and Stitch very much. We've made sure it doesn't soak in the sink (we hand wash it as soon as it's used with non-abrasive sponges and dry it right away), we monitor overheating issues, and let it get too cold (trying to keep it its ability to change color). And today when I took it out of the closet my fingernail LIGHTLY scratched it and much of the coating was scraped off. It is soft to the touch and does not adhere well to the actual design. I don't know how long it will take for the rest of the protective layer to wear off, but I'm very disappointed. She has used it about 6 times and we have treated it like gold. Only for it to fail under better than normal conditions of use. Next time I'll buy a standard mug without the fancy color change. Absolutely not worth the money or the hassle.
