When it comes to mounting a camera, weight is an important factor for me. Most of my work is related to weddings and usually the whole wedding. So for 6-8 hours of work you need a light camera. Don't let the weight fool you, this is a very sturdy and beautifully crafted piece. The top of the handle is metal and here you'll find three 1/4" screw mounts conveniently placed for a variety of optional accessories. Below the metal part is a large part of the handle, which is made of hard plastic with double rubber. Another nice feature is that the grip is essentially reversible, as the part that attaches the grip to the camera cage can be unscrewed with the tool provided and flipped over, allowing you to mount the grip on the right or left camera frame. Overall, this is one great product for the price and the perfect addition to any lightweight camera.
