Great product for photos and videos

This is exactly what I needed. I have a left hand weakness and had trouble handling a camera with large/heavy lenses. It helped a lot. Sony A7iii camera with cage.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Can be damaged

Doesn't fit in their cage

Very heavy little handle and the screws don't match anything on the SMALLRIG EOS M50 camera cage. I don't know if it was "not designed" for that, but I thought there would be some kind of universal ideology in its design. It's solid, yes, but it doesn't stick up and down, I have to rotate it to make it work, and it's not the best third point of contact. The screws will loosen even after light use, keep your Allen key with you!

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Very expensive

Great upgrade for phone camera

This mini grip was a great addition to my small phone camera. I used a quick release plate to convert a double tripod screw to a single screw on the phone holder and I have another matching quick release on the tripod so I can quickly switch from fixed to manual. The handle fits comfortably in your hand and is much easier to use than a tripod when folded. Everything I've gotten from Smallrig has been of high quality and reasonably priced and this crank is no exception.

Pros
  • Done
Cons
  • Some issues

My mistake was not reading the reviews where I read that not one M50 has the same problem. I have information that I can

Great upgrade for cell phone recording

This miniature side grip was the perfect complement to my small cell phone camera. Comfortable lightweight!

When it comes to mounting a camera, weight is an important factor for me. Most of my work is related to weddings and usually the whole wedding. So for 6-8 hours of work you need a light camera. Don't let the weight fool you, this is a very sturdy and beautifully crafted piece. The top of the handle is metal and here you'll find three 1/4" screw mounts conveniently placed for a variety of optional accessories. Below the metal part is a large part of the handle, which is made of hard plastic with
