THIS IS NOT A REAL PIREX! FRAGILE WASTE!

These so-called PYREX cymbals are FAKE! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SELLER! I have owned PYREX for many years and am very familiar with the weight and feel of the product. I ordered some new dishes because I left my baking pans with the brothers for Thanksgiving. I wanted to cook chicken today, opened a new dish to wash and was already amazed by the color. Real PYREX has always had a gray tint around the edges when you look at them in my opinion, I suspect this has to do with their density. While these dishes have an aquatic tint of blue. Same as regular thick glass that works well for windows or doors but sags at high oven temperatures! For most I would say that the real PYREX is understandable. NEVER BLUE! When I took the dishes, I was also annoyed by the extreme lightness. Real PYREX is denser to be safe for kiln use and will always be heavier than its size suggests. Then when I went to wash the bakeware I almost cut my hand when I ran my hand over the end and saw that one side had broken off! I have had some of my PYREX pans for over 5 years and have NEVER damaged them despite hand washing them many times and shaking them against the sink rim. The large pot also had an odd brown stain in the glass. I know it's inside because I can't feel it inside or under the pan or wipe it off. BUT THE MOST IMPORTANT INDICATOR IS THIS! I'm ashamed to admit I never noticed and my mother had to point it out to me... REAL PIREX is always capitalized. If you see a product that claims to be PYREX but is written in lower case on the website or on the packaging and the product itself, DO NOT BUY! Real PYREX is always written in upper case. This is absolute bullshit and a slander of genuine PYREX cookware. These are the types of pans you see in reviews that have crashed in ovens. If you see any of the warning signs I mentioned, DO NOT USE IN OVEN! They will eventually break with use. The first use also depends on the temperature of the oven. Not only will I be asking for a refund, but I'm pissed that I now have to buy new ink for my printer, which isn't often used at home to print those stupid labels. I hope the real PYREX company sees this and stops this distributor from ruining the reputation of this product. AND I HOPE AMAZON YOU UNDERSTAND THAT YOU CAN SELL WRONG PRODUCTS ON AMAZON! Please make Amazon better!
