Review on 🎥 YONGNUO YN360 LED Video Light: Adjustable Color Temperature 3200K-5500K for Perfect Lighting by William Groupp

I've been thinking about buying new lighting to change up some of my photos. After checking out Wescott's Icelight, I decided I wasn't willing to spend $$ on something I wasn't entirely sure I would end up using. I already have a couple of Yongnuo wireless flashes and a Yongnuo Speedlite and so far I'm happy with them, so I decided to take a chance and buy a YN360 lightstick. Thank you, Revan! It arrived the next day and I excitedly unpacked the YN360. It arrived in a beautifully designed box with a padded black carry case with straps. and I was immediately struck by how firm it felt. I was expecting it to be fairly light and maybe even a bit flimsy, but that's not the case at all. Please note that the YN360 comes without a power adapter (no battery, no plug). It supports standard Sony NP-FXXX batteries, which can be ordered cheaply from Revain. I ended up buying two DSTE brand batteries which have worked great with the YN360 so far. There is a threaded hole at the bottom of the lantern so you can mount it on a stand (which I haven't tried yet). In terms of performance, the YN360 was pretty cool when I put the battery in. The white light was surprisingly bright and easily adjustable with a small knob. Then, when I switched it to RGB color, I was immediately mesmerized by the colors. The first thing I used light for was a macro shot of a caterpillar. I was very impressed with the light and had fun moving it around and seeing what I can do with it. The YN360 is very portable and I always take it with me when I'm shooting just in case I want to add something else. Then one day last week I was asked to help with a small video project and I took it with me just in case. I ended up doing a little photo shoot when I got there. We were in a tiny office and it was getting dark outside. I decided to use the YN360 colored light as the only light source and the artist was very happy with the results. So far the YN360 has been amazing. No performance issues. I plan to buy 2 more soon so I can get even more creative with my photo shoots.
