Used this thing for the first time yesterday. This works very well. The valve is solid and well made. I've actually used it with another device to evacuate liquid simply by connecting the hoses together. You don't technically need this device to bleed the brakes with a fluid evaporator. If you have the right size clear tubing, you can clip the end directly onto the outlet valve. That being said, the rubber piece provides a good seal on the exhaust valve, and you get the cut with this purchase.
