I bought these to repair the fins on the back of a window air conditioner. It's 10,000 BTU, they didn't help at all, actually bent some fins, tried different sizes, none of them fit, they're too big. I ended up just using a cheap port freight brush with hard plastic bristles that comes in multiple packs for about $5 and instantly repaired most of the less damaged areas in one swipe. I used a small flat blade screwdriver to gently straighten the most curved areas (one area was crumpled when the blades/ribs touched) and then used a bristle brush to finish and straighten, which worked great , but this one is cheap the plastic tool was actually too big and could bend the aluminum fins, too expensive, not worth sending back but definitely useless for a window air conditioner. Also it started to get damaged, the metal gnawed at the cheap plastic comb, I don't think they would be durable even if they worked for wide spaced fins. It was a bad buy. Use a cleaning brush similar to a toothbrush, but stronger plastic bristles than metal bristles work much better than these for cleaning auto parts.
