Sigh. Frustrating problem with the lever.

It is very easy to assemble but the lever does not work. I followed the directions and even took the seat off a couple of times to make sure it went in straight and not diagonally as instructed. I can see the lever touching the button but it doesn't work. I had to manually push the button to raise it and then put the seat on it. The lever still doesn't work. This chair is too expensive for the lever to not work. :-( I'm very disappointed. Also the seat doesn't come off now so I can pack it up and send it back.
