So I bought 2. The plastic is a little flimsy for what I would expect from an "emergency device". Use mine in my "emergency bag" in my chopper. So not for Marine Corps use for me. They're pretty expensive. but they are quite bright. These are basically BRIGHT LEDs with mirrors. No ordinary flash. Crashing a helicopter in the middle of nowhere or making a warning landing every time, I know if they really work. Until. Who knows?
