i have had Braun electric toothbrushes for more years than i would like to say. I also have a battery operated travel kit. My old one eventually died but it was so easy to turn on and off. Why did they change the design? I have osteoarthritis and I can't feel my fingertips. It takes me forever to turn it on and off. The button is just too heavy to connect. I buy sets of Braun toothbrushes as gifts all the time. I think it does an excellent job cleaning teeth for this hygienist. I gave one to my niece with receding gums and they are fine this year. I have bones on bones shoulders and I couldn't use a regular toothbrush if I wanted to. I recommend it to all seniors
