Works but occasional black screen issue

Use this on a Mac mini M to use a second monitor. Sometimes when your Mac mini doesn't sleep for weeks, the screen stays black and the cursor is visible and can move. Usually I had to reboot. After troubleshooting, I found that a workaround is to unplug and plug back in, which turns both monitors back on. I'm not sure if this is Apple's problem with the new silicon chip and GPU performance, or if it's the cable. But if you have the problem I am having, you can try this workaround without rebooting and losing all your unsaved files.
