I wanted a dual screen setup for my new iMac and needed this cable to connect my Mac to an HP Pavilion monitor. Works great and fast. Turned on and immediately I was off and running. Would buy again.

Although the product is advertised as "MacBook Pro/Air", it is standard USB-C, so it will easily work with Android phones/PCs or other devices works who use it . The hub doesn't feel cheap at all and surprisingly has a nice feel and look. I like that it can read two cards at once (cheap ones can't). It has an HDMI output that can support up to 4K (but capped at 30 fps, which is the only downside for me). The price is very reasonable for more versatility for your phone/tablet/computer.

I have a new MacBook Air. I wanted to set up a new workplace in my dining room (to get out of the office). A tiny screen in the air is good for a lot of things. but wanted more. I pulled out an old monitor and for $15 took a chance and bought this cable. hope it works. It works great! Connected and now to the races. ! Very happy with it. Got a new machine and lacked all the ports I'm used to. I use an extra monitor and wireless mouse at the same time, this helps me connect them all, although it's a little heavy it's not plastic like many other hubs I've seen.

This USB to HDMI adapter is really well made. The quality turned out to be much better than expected, although the description indicated it would be. When it arrived I hooked it up to my new laptop using a KVM cable and a switch to view the laptop's screen on my large monitor. As I said, it worked great! I think this is a great buy for the money and I would buy it again if I needed another.

Use this on a Mac mini M to use a second monitor. Sometimes when your Mac mini doesn't sleep for weeks, the screen stays black and the cursor is visible and can move. Usually I had to reboot. After troubleshooting, I found that a workaround is to unplug and plug back in, which turns both monitors back on.
