Review on Optimize Your Summit Treestands Experience with Footrest Kit Options by Julius Lito

Footrest increases the comfort of the tree stand

Conclusion: This is a good buy and I recommend it. If this footstool didn't bang against the footstool I would give it five stars. When I'm in a tree, I really love it. But as you approach the stand and place the climbing base on the tree, that footboard will rattle loudly against your "dumb metal." I use a Velcro strap attached to the footrest to hold it securely to the climber's base until I'm ready to deploy. A word of caution: I don't recommend sitting on the footplate when getting in and out - there are only two small screws that attach the footplate to the base. It's just a stop while sitting.
