Description of Nokian Tires Hakkapeliitta R3 205/55 R16 94R winter

The Nokian Hakkapeliitta R3 studless tire is the epitome of safety, comfort and economy. Tiny particles from a renewable, safe material have been added to the rubber compound (Nokian Cryo Crystal 3 concept). These particles have sharp edges that show up on the tread as they wear. As a result, traction on slippery surfaces - on ice and packed snow - is improved. Nokian Hakkapeliitta R3 winter tires have minimal rolling resistance, even lower than summer tires, thanks to the tread structure and the latest rubber compound. Easy rolling reduces fuel consumption, saves money and reduces CO2 emissions. The Nokian Hakkapeliitta R3 consistently scores top marks in tire comparison tests for rolling resistance and proves to be the most economical winter tyre. This is possible thanks to a 5% reduction in rolling resistance compared to the predecessor tire Nokian Hakkapeliitta R2. The Nokian Hakkapeliitta R3 winter tire is suitable for almost any modern passenger car. The model is offered in dozens of sizes for wheels with a diameter of 14 to 21 inches. It provides a high level of comfort in the most difficult road and weather conditions, ensuring safe driving in them. Arctic Sense Grip The Arctic Sense Grip concept was used in the creation of the tire. This is a set of technical solutions aimed at providing maximum grip on packed snow and ice. One of them is the use of several types of lamellas. In the shoulder areas there are self-locking slots. Upon contact with the road, they, opening and forming numerous faces, limit the mobility of the block. As a result, not only grip properties are improved, but their stability is also increased. The central part contains lamella pumps. When in contact with a wet coating, they absorb moisture due to the presence of special cavities inside, thereby drying the contact patch. The action of the lamellas is significantly enhanced by the compound. It is made in two layers. The outer side contains, in addition to silicon dioxide, Cryo Crystal 3 particles. They are distinguished by their high hardness and crystalline form. This component more than compensates for the lack of studs in the tread of this tire, providing effective grip on icy surfaces. The lower base layer of the tread is highly rigid. Such a "substrate" gives stability to grip properties, improves directional stability at high speed and when maneuvering, and reduces rolling resistance. Snow Claws Another innovation of this model is the numerous grooves between the blocks of an unusual triangular shape with long curved zigzag edges. These elements enhance directional stability and grip during longitudinal accelerations on snowy surfaces. Some of them are located on the sides of the shoulder blocks. Brake Booster The next interesting solution...

The product is no good, I won't buy it again.

Definitely not worth the cost at all. As a result of improper storage, two out of the four tires are unbalanced. The facility of the year 2022 will not be able to guarantee appropriate storage and delivery to the end user. Either they are manufactured in defiance of technological standards, which would not surprise me in the least, or they are not.

Great product, a pleasure to use.

incredible tire Wonderful grip in any winter. What comes after the spikes is amazing. And it has a lot of power and torque and is rear-wheel drive. On snow and ice porridge, you even begin to move upward, despite the dead man's fear that we will fall. On frozen highway asphalt, even anti-slip is not necessary for overtaking. full with joy.

Pros
  • Silence, adaptability, and the capacity to pleasantly surprise.
Cons
  • Friends have expressed concerns about the endurance of the previous generation (Hakka R2), but thus far, the flight has been uneventful.

A great option for this money, one of the best offers.

I drove around Hong Kong on the old Nokia Hakapelita R2 tires for two winters and two summers before finally giving up and buying new ones. I needed new ones before the cold weather set in, so I got them. I dated it for the first week of October, when the temperature had dropped to seven degrees and stabilized. The month of November has arrived with no sign of snow, ice, or bitter cold. The tires perform admirably in these situations. Suddenly, the cabin went silent; while I formerly felt…

Pros
  • Discreetly persistent
Cons
  • not yet known

A nice option for the money, one of the best deals.

I was pleased with the Nokian Hakkapelitta R2 throughout my three winters of driving it. I chose to upgrade my tires to a set of R3 195/65/15 at the start of this winter, selling the old set while the tread was still relatively intact. So, while the R2s were already rather quiet, the newer R3s are considerably better, and are nearly silent on the road. When using ContiPremium Contact5 tires (which are excellent in the summer), the R3 is even quieter on the pavement. I drive a Volkswagen Golf 6…

Pros
  • Extremely silent, much more so than R2. Strong hold. Details can be found in the comments below.
Cons
  • That is, until I learned

Think twice before buying this product.

I've been driving a four-wheel drive car (Volvo s90) on this road for the past three years. There were no gripes about the rubber's performance on the road in dry, warm conditions. but throughout the wintertime. The current temperature in Hong Kong is a comfortable negative (-13 degrees Celsius), and the city is following a Scandinavian maintenance schedule (cleaning only) by not watering the roads. hence the stopping power is effectively null in such conditions. any stretch, even if devoid of…

Pros
  • low-noise and traction-enhancing on asphalt
Cons
  • as steady as a cow on ice. horrible stopping power. gaps between the ribs

Normal quality, you can use it.

When considering the switch to a car with a single-speed transmission, I gave a lot of attention to the question of what kind of tires to purchase. The decision was made to go with this tire. When I first heard about winter, my first thought was, "Who else besides the Finns knows what winter is?" In most cases, it demonstrates normal behavior regardless of the circumstances of the road. Rolling in temperatures close to zero, just like any other Velcro. Didn't get caught in any mud or snow…

Pros
  • Rowing effectively
Cons
  • resisting wear and tear

Fits the description completely, very satisfying.

Despite the fact that it was the middle of October, I went ahead and changed the tires. Even when the temperature on the road fluctuates or there is icing, the rubber maintains an outstanding grip. It is a pleasant surprise as the city and the highway both almost lack any audible background noise.

My worst tire experience ever. This was not at all what I anticipated from the Nokian model. Noisy, essentially same to studded in this parameter. On ice, there is no stability nor braking capabilities. The situation is better, but not crucial, when there is snow. The car, valkost, cannot maintain a straight line. The conduct is awful in snow porridge. To be completely honest, I had higher hopes after reading the tests. I don't advise anyone to purchase it. I'm willing to exchange it for…

Pros
  • stable snow conditions. However, perhaps this is the Quattro drive's strength.
Cons
  • steadiness in a straight line Brakes and ice stability Noisy brakes and stability on snow

Dissatisfied with this product, bad to use.

Hong Kong, At the beginning of November, we shod a functional car with brand new tires that we had purchased for a VW Golf R15. November has been going in both directions, despite the fact that it has very strong acceleration and enters curves with a lot of roll. The tires do not slow down at all in the snow, so you have to drive VERY slowly and keep a wide distance between you and the car in front of you. Driving became really dangerous when the snow started falling. When I was driving on…

Pros
  • Is it quiet
Cons
  • horrible tires in virtually every regard 1. the surface of the pavement is quite pliable and rolls 2. Has very poor acceleration in snow and does not at all slow down when driving in snow.

I like it, thank you for the quality product.

I think it's perfect for a quiet ride in a European winter, but a journey to the forest on this rubber is canceled. The Chinese Maxxis SS-01 did indeed seem more assured. different benefits Wonderful, quiet, and gentle. the Nissan X-Trail's shoes. You may drive through a stake without even noticing it on the track since it holds the road flawlessly, even when overtaking. Cons are: Stress alone - in sharp bends on snowy porridge with ice and on bare ice - will not in any way replace spikes. Hard

With its positives being: Quiet enough, however there is a slight howl at speeds greater than 50 miles per hour. It felt that because of the smoothness of the pavement, the acceleration was more sluggish than usual. The pavement was rather comfy. With these drawbacks: The R18 is extremely unbalanced when placed on brand new wheels. While the rubber was turned through an angle of 180 degrees in relation to the disks, weights ranging from 65 to 90 g were hung from each disk.

The perfect purchase for me, exactly what I was looking for!

Effectively rows at a slow pace while steadfastly moving forward. Consistently manages to get into snowdrifts; but, climbing out of them in the morning can be challenging. Brakes on the oatmeal can be tolerated if the turns are held with self-assurance. However, while using a manual transmission with 200 horsepower and front-wheel drive, it is not easy to accelerate from a stop because the vehicle always breaks into axle boxes. At the same time, however, the vehicle almost does not lead to the…

Pros
  • Maintains its shape, is calm and kind,
Cons
  • When accelerating over porridge, the front-wheel drive vehicle with the 200 horsepower and the manual transmission slips.

The product is of poor quality, I do not advise.

As a result of the rejection, I wrote to the office and sent a ton of images! Here is a promise for 2022! Rubber cracking is considered by Nokian Tire LLC to be normal wear and tear rather than a flaw! 0% customer focus I don't see the sense in taking advantage because life is more expensive; it's money down the drain! I discovered that it appears to be a widespread issue, affecting the full line of Vsevolozhsk-produced Nokian Tires Hakka Blue and NOKIAN HAKKAPELIITTA 9. Ideally, use…

Pros
  • The cost is equivalent to a plane at 295/35/21 for a batch of more than 80.
Cons
  • Don't purchase this trash from 2022! All of the tires' sidewalls near the tread had cracks at the end of the second season.

Terrible purchase, only wasted money.

Buy nothing! Instead of R3, look for regular winter tires from another manufacturer. I only have one question for everyone who extols the virtues of this model: did they actually drive it, or did they merely read online advertisements for it? Below are some advantages: dignity in the shape of a Nokian nameplate on the tire's sidewall, letting people know that the rubber is not inexpensive. With an average mileage of 15-20 thousand kilometers per year, there may also be just moderate wear…

Do not hesitate to buy, the quality is amazing for the price.

I did not write this review right away since I dislike recommending things to others that I have not personally used. However, after using these tires for more than 3000 kilometers, I feel confidence in recommending them. I am unquestionably pleased and satisfied with my decision and the price! I advise everyone to get Nokian Hakkapeliitta R3. If you give it a try, you won't be able to say no!

Pros
  • I picked Nokian Hakkapeliitta R3 205/55-R16 tires for my brand-new Skoda Octavia since they are the greatest option for the winter. The name of the Finnish manufacturer Nokian Tires speaks for itself; I have long chosen Nokian Tires' tires (both summer and winter). The tires performed better than I had anticipated during my own testing on erratic winter roads. On slippery, snowy, and sloppy roads, the tires have superb traction. You can appreciate the silence in the car and superb handling at any speed in locations where the road has been plowed down to asphalt. You can enjoy your ride without being bothered by bumps, icing, snowdrifts, or other road imperfections thanks to the quality. These tires are industry leaders in every category and help me take full advantage of my new car's capabilities (stability control, traction control, and abs)! The non-studded Nokian Hakkapeliitta R3 tires make ideal contact with any road's surface, providing comfort and reducing fuel consumption. Tires that are sufficiently elastic and useful. As manufacturers claim, they are distinguishable by greater wear resistance, and time will bear this out.
Cons
  • No

I have owned a lot of winter tires over the past 15 years (I started with Kama Euro, followed by a variety of Bridgestones, including the most recent VRX and REVO GZ, which I thought were the pinnacle of tire design), but this one is simply heaven and earth. I first didn't think about it because of a horrible experience I had with Nokian's winter euro Velcro (WR G2), but they turned out to be the perfect choice for an active driver.

Pros
  • The 245/45R19 tire is very soft, accelerates and brakes flawlessly in any winter weather, handles well, and does not float in the heat of spring.
Cons
  • Additionally to the cost of no, in my opinion, but generally speaking, this is a fair cost for its quality.

The benefits of it include: Quiet, gentle, inexpensive. Unlim warranty with no paper work required (electronic registration). Some cons: There hasn't been a true winter in the Central Federal District for the past two years, so it would be premature to make any predictions at this point.

I'm completely satisfied with the product, it works.

I skated on a set with four seasons that was made in Finland. Currently, they solely offer 2022 production. For a very long time, I was skeptic, but I truly like the Finnish one. Ours is a little bit harsher; in fact, the rubber's color is different from the one from 2022. Given that the Nokians will be leaving in 2022, I made the decision to accept it. The cost is suffering. Before leaving, Nokian made the decision to have a nice boil. 70k for my r18. Overall though, it's a fantastic tire. On…

Pros
  • Excellent float in snow and people, decent handling, and quiet.
Cons
  • Cost and hydroplaning
