My 16 year old son takes a prescription called isotretinoin (formerly known as Accutane, now brand name Miorisan) for acne and one of the side effects is dry and dry skin. , chapped lips. I have bought him many (too many to count) lip products including Aquaphor, Vaseline, Blistex, Chapstick (of all kinds), Burt's Bees and more. None of them seemed to work that well so I went online and read the blogs of people who have taken or have taken Accutane and what they have found effective in treating chapped lips. A person recommended this product to me but I couldn't find it in the store so I ordered it from Amazon. My son says this works best of all the products he's tried.
