Review on Maxis 600 Ft Pulling Rope by Kody Bradley

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Works well, slightly damaged

Pulls the pipeline well. I used it in 4" pipe with 1-1/2" 250psi polypropylene tubing, some 4 AWG triplex and 3/4" polypropylene tubing that I used as conduit for 4- I used 14 AWG Category 5 wire and cable. It was 630 feet of thrust. The description says the reel is 600 feet long, so it must have stretched a little or had a little more on the spool. The rope is soft so it won't burn the plastic pipes. One of the grommets on the end was damaged simply by pulling the ball hitch on my truck, but it survived. I had to pull hard to get everything through the 4 inch pipe but it worked. He stopped my truck and I spun all 4 wheels a few times and still held on. The only reason I gave it one star is because I didn't feel the rope should be damaged in the eye as it was just pulled by a smooth ball hitch.
