Not having the wind hit your face and being able to easily pull it down to eat, drink or blow your nose and also not have it too tight it makes indents is perfect. I have an small/medium size adult female head. I would recommend not using fabric softener liquid or the sheets, I think performance gear or something like this works best without it.
