As far as looking like work pants but feeling like yoga pants, these really fit the bill, like pretty amazing in the leg and butt area. But the band is sooooo uncomfortable. It will cut you in half like a deng Michelin man. I got these to wear to work postpartum. I’m 5’7 155lb (normally 125lb) and got a size 8 and they fit great. I do not think sizing up would fix the band. I wish the band would just be a little thinker and a gentler elastic, especially since the pants are light weight so it’s not like they’re having to hold up heavy fabric.
