These are thin plastic sheets colored the color of a traditional tablecloth. They have a strength that you can feel when you smear them on the table, they don't tear apart easily and are suitable for general handling. You can place aluminum pans of hot food on top, spilled drinks will drip off instead of spilling if you're trying to protect the table (not the pants lol). We used it for our first big family gathering since the pandemic and everyone really appreciated it. After many hours of use, we have guiltlessly used them to collect and throw away rubbish. Would buy again for this type of use. To use the strips I touched the strip on the table after you removed the first layer and then carefully peeled off the back layer leaving the tape on the table as if you were waxing a leg. If you remove the tape from the large wax paper first, you may find that the strip sticks to your hand as it is very sticky. Use liberally for windproof adhesion.
